The new 2013 catalog is in the mail offering new and old rose favorites. Some of the "new" come from a collection of roses acquired from Cliff Orent. The collection is a result of Cliff’s years of research and importing efforts. His passion and love for roses are reminiscent of John Clements’ own desire to bring rare and unusual varieties to the United States. These imports, previously held by Cliff’s EuroDesert Rose Nursery, are from many countries and are now available to the United States.
Many varieties Heirloom Roses is offering are in limited supply, and will sell out quickly so make sure to check out the website! Most of the photos are our own or provided by Cliff Orent himself. Those photos that we display were all taken in Oregon or California. If there is no photo a link to HelpMeFind has been provided just under the rose description. Keep in mind that the photos found there have been taken from all over the world and in different climates so the color of the rose may vary.
Heirloom Roses, is very interested in comments from those that have grown any of the varieties listed on the site and in the new 2013 catalog. If an attribute has been omitted it is not because we missed it, we do not at this time have the information to include. As we acquire the heights, widths, petal counts and bloom size they will certainly be added to the website.
