German Valentino is an award-winning iris with excellent form and an intoxicating scent. This 36" tall variety features the deepest bronze-red coloring darkening to ruby red on the edges. A great choice for a statement piece for spring amongst the lighter, pastel colors of the garden.

Valentino is sold as an individual rhizome.

Planting Instructions: 

1. Choose an area that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight and has good drainage.
2. Plant with the rhizome’s top exposed at the surface of the soil and firmly pack the soil around each rhizome.
3. Space Iris rhizomes 12 -24 inches apart.
4. Water after planting and continue watering at least once a week for the remainder of the growing season.
