  • One of Griffith Buck's most popular roses, this charming Climbing Rose is very fragrant with the scent of apples and cloves. These large, pink single 3.5" blooms of 5-12 petals are produced on an arching bush with mid-green foliage that shows the texture of one of its parents, the wild rose ‘Rosa Laxa.’ A very vigorous upright bush with arching canes, she also may be grown as a short climber. Winter hardy in the midwest without protection. AppleJack will make a great showing even in dappled sun as it is shade tolerant too!

Great for bees!

This is a wonderful climbing rose. I’ve owned it now for 3 years. In the partly shady spot in my front yard, it’s rangy and vigorous, and now at the peak of bloom. It attracts lots of pollinating insects, which is exactly what I want. It has a pleasant, delicate rose fragrance. I love Dr. Buck’s roses!

Beautiful

This rose is doing so well in the dappled shade. This is it's second year and it's blossoms are large and delicate with a hint of apple scent. I love the simple open nature if this rose. I look forward to watching it mature.
