Tulips, Daffodils, and Crocus:
Planting Instructions:
- Choose an area with partial to full sun that has good drainage.
- Dig a hole 6-8 inches deep (3-5 inches deep for crocus) and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole.
- Place bulbs 2-3 inches apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.
- Water once and then not again till spring.
Iris:
Planting Instructions:
- Choose an area that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight and has good drainage.
- Plant with the rhizome’s top exposed at the surface of the soil and firmly pack the soil around each rhizome.
- Space Iris rhizomes 12 -24 inches apart.
- Water after planting and continue watering at least once a week for the remainder of the growing season.
Ranunculus:
Planting Instructions:
- Soak corms in room temperature water for 3-4 hours; avoid over soaking.
- Choose an area with full sun for planting.
- Add compost and a balanced fertilizer to your soil.
- Plant corms 9 inches apart, 2-3 inches deep, with tentacles facing down in the soil.
- Water after planting and continue weekly watering to ensure the corms do not dry out for the remainder of the growing season.
