Oh my word, this rose has flowers the size of softballs, a gorgeous scent, the lovliest pale-to-medium pink, & it grew quickly & very strongly in the large pot where I placed it. What a winner, why don't you grow more of these, Heirloom?
I’m in love with this rose. She’s a show stopper in our DC-area container garden. She’s been a bit of a slow grower compared to the Earth Angel, which we got at the same time, but I will say her blooms last ages, even in this crazy heat and humidity we have in my zone. Can’t wait to see how she does in the years to come.
We have a couple hundred roses at this point and so many good ones. I ordered this one by accident so it wasn't really in my radar but it just started blooming and it's incredible!
At least in our area (Western Washington) this rose smells like strawberry candy. It's delicious. In fact my cat tried to run off with one of the blooms I left on the table for a minute (until she felt a thorn. Haha).
Really can't say enough about this rose. It's gorgeous as a bud and a full flower and seriously we can't stop smelling it.
I planted two of these in January 2024 and today they are producing very very large blooms (even after repeated pruning by the local deer). The blooms are lasting over a week during this temperate weather, in contrast to the short lived blooms of the David Austen planted next to Lover’s blush. Very impressed, these definitely deliver
