She’s been slow to grow but I just love her blooms! We will be on year three this year so praying she leaps
Eden is the honey badger of rose bushes. I was worn out when I got to planting her, so I just stuck her right in the terrible clay soil we have here in NE Texas. Grew like crazy. Drought, record heat waves, Eden doesn’t care and just keeps growing when all my other plants are turning yellow. Bought 3 more. Two thumbs up.
I have bought a few roses every month since July '24, as I have revamped our yard. This is one I bought in early August. The picture is October 11th. I have planted her in a place of main focus, but it's more shady than I realized. (I may have to ask a neighbor if I can trim a tree branch to open a bit of sun for her). The plant came in excellent condition, and has grown beautifully, regardless of shade! No buds yet, but I am hopeful. I'll give her some time, and move her if I need to, but I'm excited for this beauty.,
I am in zone 9, in the Sacramento Valley.
Very happy with my Heirloom Roses!
