I got my hand on this after participating in its naming contest. I didn’t have any expectations for this little shrub but it has surprised me. She’s a fast grower. Within a couple months, she has grown into a nice little shrub in my pot. I love the ways she flowers. I describe her as my sunny hydrangea. The flowers clusters together in groups on the shrubs similar to how hydrangeas are. I can see using this shrub in similar fashion. I’m in Denver so we get a lot of sun here. Her blooms are pure white for me by the way. I think it’s because of the sun. In other places with dapple light, maybe she’ll be pink.
I was waiting for this little jewel since it was announced about a year ago and finally, I got my hands on it. It started blooming in about a month since planted. The blooms look just like in pictures, even though small in size, an inch in diameter. So far so good. :)
