Heirloom Roses' ships premium roses to us so it is unquestionably reasonable for them to provide quality products that maintain and keep our roses beautiful year after year. I endorse every product they sell.
I was somewhat skeptical but used this soil in potting three roses. I used a well-known brand of potting soil for two more. The roses potted with this soil have done significantly better. I also planted alyssum in two of the pots. The difference in the size of the alyssum was incredible. I’m buying more to repot the remaining two roses.
I planted late last fall, in tall containers, and the results of the investment are amazing. These hybrid teas have produced spectacular blooms (Mister Lincoln and Queen Elizabeth, my lifetime favorites), cut and brought in, with almost constant fragrance and beauty in my apartment. It has been a spectacular pleasure for me...labor intensive because of my impairments...but well worth the wonderousness of these plants. P.S. I used Heirloom soils, fertilizers and fungicides.
The soil in my backyard in North Carolina is sandy, even though I live in the foothills, far from the coast. I have used living soil with every rose planted in the ground, as well as those grown in pots. My newly planted roses are doing well.
