I was gifted a Judy Garland rose last year and for a while it seemed to do okay, but then I saw a steady decline. She was down to her last cane when I decided to give some of the nutrition options a shot. I added the manure as a top dressing and watered with some worm casting tea I made (both the castings and manure are Heirloom Roses brand products) and a week after application she has grown some new leaves. It's really the first sign of life I have seen from her in a while. I also gave the tea and manure to my other roses and there are buds everywhere! My Tropicana rose hasn't produced any buds in two years and she has multiple buds now; one of whom even has the vibrant orange peeping through. If your roses are struggling, I would definitely advise giving the nutritional amendments a shot.

I put this WC around the base of a couple of young roses and not on the other roses to test it out. I noticed a big difference. More buds, bigger blooms, continuous blooms, and beautiful colors. I also use Heirloom fish fertilizer and mint compost. So I do think it makes a big difference. You really get what to you pay for, everything sold here is real and natural. (So. Cal 10a)

I use worm castings on my roses as well as on two Blue Wonder Spruce trees I've purchased. In both cases, roses and trees, I can see immediate improvement in the quality of rose blossoms and the higher green quality in the trees. I highly recommend worm castings as the best fertilizer you can buy. Very worth the price!
