I purchased 3 rose plants in October and planted them in the ground. Madam Anisette is my first April bloom (zone 8b)! She has survived the biggest snowstorm we have had in 30 years, despite being a new transplant! She seemed quite sad in her original spot so I moved her to a pot and sunnier location at the end of February. Despite these challenges, she is my first bloom and she is perfect! She is the epitome of class, truly a lady! Her scent is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I just love her! I’m obsessed with her. This is my first time growing roses and I feel so lucky that I found such a wonderful grower. My plants are so healthy and the quality of the flowers is unmatched.
This rose bush has thrived unlike some others in the Texas summer heat. It is vigorous and grew alot this summer. It also has resisted (mostly) a virus that seems to overtake my other roses here in spite of vigilant care. It’s blossoms are beautiful and cut they lasted a long while inside.
Love this rose! It has grown so quick so make sure it’s planted in the back of your garden bed. Im sometimes having to trim it back so it’s not taller than my potted rose trees and it’s only year 2! Huge, fragrant blooms.
I bought two of these about 2 falls ago, and just WOW! They’re consistently growing large beautiful blooms thruout the season. I cut the smaller buds to get one large flower instead of a few medium sized ones. They smell delicious. Super intoxicating, neighbors are always complimenting them and their scent. I’m growing in front of yard/garden which is north facing and last year they grew to be at least 8 feet tall.
