Named for the British Queen Victoria, this rose was introduced in France in 1872. Reine Victoria produces wonderfully cupped, 3.5” blooms with 60+ petals decorated in rose pink with a touch of lilac. She is certainly majestic with her strong fragrance, very slender upright growth, and attention grabbing blossoms. Reine Victoria is a repeat bloomer and will reign in any garden!

I almost never write reviews but for these roses I had to. A friend had recommended Heirloom Roses based on her experience and when I saw her beautiful roses I decided to try. She prepared me to be patient as it takes 1-2 years from first planting to begin to see the full effect, but they have now come in and are extraordinarily healthy and incredibly beautiful, even having survived an unusually dry autumn and then icy, harsh winter. I note that I did also purchase and use at the beginning the fish fertilizer and other recommended products. You may judge the results from the photos I attach! Both plants are equally beautiful.
Discovered this exquisite rose in Paris garden shop in the 1990s,; named " La Reine Victoire". I'm in Zone 7 and hope it will flourish here!
Just planted this fall, but it's looking very healthy. Can't wait to see it bloom in spring. Heirloom staff was very helpful with my questions about this rose.
I have been looking for this rose in the US for a while now, and am thrilled you have made it available. Grew it in chalk in a very warm, dry climate previously, was brilliant, suspect it will be even more spectacular in our current continental climate with excellent soils. Heavy rebloom in autumn.
