She is truly one of the best Moss Roses available with her strong fragrance, well mossed buds, vigorous growth habit, and compact nature. Perfect for beds or pots and hardy enough to take on most climates.

My New Favorite Rose

So this was the first year I've really gotten into old garden roses because I've had the perception that they are kinda fussy and disease prone. While I've found that to be the case with some of the variety it is most certainly not the case with Salet. In one word Salet is simply amazing! Her old rose sent is to die for she's beautiful even while not in bloom and vigorous. when I received her from heirloom she was around 18-24" at the end of her first season she's over 5' in part sun she probably get about 5 hours of midday sun here in Ohio. You are going to want to train her she's already getting pretty bushy for me. If i were in charge at Heirloom I'd up my production of this rose I really don't know why she isn't everywhere!
