I received a very healthy well packaged rose that immediately began vigorous growth. It bloomed a couple of times it's first year and I wasn't that impressed. It seemed like more of a landscape rose than a collector's garden rose. Long story short, I was wrong. It's first spring bloom as a 1 year old produced deeply cupped large blooms one typically expects from an Austin by the dozens, with some bloom clusters exceeding 30 blooms. I love this rose!
This rose was put in the ground in early mid-May. It asked only for water and did the rest of the hard work. It has bloomed continuously since the beginning of June
even with high temperatures and humidity. I couldn’t have asked for an easier rose! Or a prettier one.
Lovely strong scent, long lasting blooms, vigorous growing rose! First season & very impressed. Do not be discouraged if you do not like yellow. She’s the perfect shade of pastel yellow, fading into a soft cream. Truly, a rose for every garden. And beautiful next to pinks for flower arrangements!
