  • About Wollerton Old Hall™
  • Other Details
  • Named for one of the most beautiful British gardens, Wollerton Old Hall™ is just a dream! She is one of the most fragrant of all English roses. Her strong, warm, and intensely floral fragrance is in the myrrh family with gentle hints of apricot. The plump buds, with attractive flashes of red, open to form beautifully rounded, chalice-shaped blooms of soft apricot gently aging to a subtle cream. She is very healthy, with an upright growth habit, well-branched structure, and minimal thorns. She routinely receives 5-star reviews and is highly coveted. We recommend planting this rose where her strong scent can be easily appreciated.

Gorgeous

David Austin roses rarely disappoint, even if they can be sensitive to southern humidity. My first year Wollerton has been surprisingly healthy and has produced several breathtaking roses already. I might need another!

A beautiful rose

This rose has taken a while to acclimate. After giving me 2 spectacular roses she went quiet. It became very hot and humid and she started to wilt. It seems that the more perfumed roses in my collection are more thirsty than the others. Given a good soaking she bounced back and is sending up new flowers. I can barely wait to see all the blooms.

Amazing scent

This flower smells like a guerlain perfume. Beautiful peach bloom and planted 2-3 months ago. A couple feet tall. I’m waiting to get it trained to start growing up the trellis. Wish I had purchased two.

Lovely already!

It’s hard to believe that this plant was their roots with no leaves only two months ago. We have 14 flowers blooming or forming already! The fragrance is lovely, it is a bit faint still, but I expected to get stronger with time
