  • Named for one of the most beautiful British gardens, Wollerton Old Hall™ is just a dream! She is one of the most fragrant of all English Roses. Her strong, warm, and intensely floral fragrance is in the myrrh family with gentle hints of apricot. The plump buds, with attractive flashes of red, open to form beautifully rounded, chalice-shaped blooms of soft apricot gently aging to a subtle cream. She forms a particularly healthy, upright, bushy shrub with few thorns. She routinely receives 5-star reviews and is highly coveted. We recommend planting this rose where her strong scent can be easily appreciated.

The perfect rose plant!

It’s been almost one year and this rose shot up and has done a beautiful job! It arrived about 1 foot tall and has now exceeded 7 feet. The blooms continue even into a zone 9 winter with nighttime temperatures dropping to the mid 30s. So thankful I picked this one up! It’s not the cheapest rose plant, but it has done a remarkable job!! Well worth it!

Such a surprise!!

Just planted her in my raised bed and did not expect any blooms for this season and she gave me a sneak peek of what’s to come for the Spring! It’s October in my zone 9a and already she’s putting on new growth and doing well!

First rose!

I purchased one Wollerton Olde Hall mid-summer and fretted the past few months because we’ve been in a severe drought in central Ohio for the entire summer. Of course, this was the summer I decided to invest in a good number of Heirloom roses…
This little beauty established quickly and started throwing leaves like crazy. Did not expect much height the first, which is why I delayed putting up a trellis. Anyway, multiple canes are 4 feet tall and this is my first rose! I’m thrilled!
Would like to note that I ordered all of the planting supplies for my roses from heirloom; it was the smartest thing I’ve ever ever done. Despite the drought/high temps/insufferable heat index for most of the summer, the roses have done great.

Bounced back after deer attack haha

I planted this in January (7 months ago) and it has twice been mowed to the ground by a family of deer. I was so worried about this but it’s bounced back really well and is starting to produce large blooms. Also worth noting that black spot came through and took out 75% of my peonies, but these roses weren’t affected in the least.
