Papa Meilland®™ is an older, continual blooming, deep, dark velvety red Hybrid Tea rose, the yardstick to which dark red, fragrant roses should be judged. He offers up to near-perfect, 5" blooms of 35+ petals. However, Papa Meilland®™ does need some care to perform at his best as he can be a bit finicky. Experienced rosarians know he is worth it though! This rose has earned a Gold Medal in Germany and the Hall of Fame from The WFRS and the Gamble Fragrance Award. Papa Meilland®™ is the plant parent to many amazing varieties including The McCartney Rose™.
