Parfuma Summer Romance story

I have bought a few roses every month since July '24, as I have revamped our yard. This was one of the first I bought in July. The picture is October 11th. I planted her in a new bed, where we will be able to see her through our family room window when she matures, I got a wee bud and flower out of her about a month after planting! She has tripled in size. The plant came in excellent condition, and has grown beautifully! I am in zone 9, in the Sacramento Valley.
Very happy with my Heirloom Roses!

If You Are A Hopeless Romantic...

...then this is the rose for you. It simply screams lace dresses and tea on the veranda. Gorgeous full, quartered blooms, lovely pink, healthy foliage, fragrance to die for. It did OK in a nasty heat wave, but I gave it some shade. Several people have mentioned it being MUCH bigger than advertised, so I'm trying to be ready for that b/c in 3 months, in a pot, it is already demanding a good bit of space. It got a tad of mildew before I could move it out of the fall shade, so I'd say sun, but cool temps is its favorite way to be. I adore this rose & once I see about its size, I may want more of them!

Heatwave

I’m scared to planet them out side during the heatwave. I don’t want to loose them.
