Loving this rose so far. Potted early June and by the end of the month I had some blooms. The scent is much more interesting than I expected. It’s certainly strong and smells of myrrh, but there’s a sweet powdery perfume scent to it as well. Definitely pleasant. I adore the cupped blooms!
Rose arrived on 6/5 and was immediately potted. Now today 6/29 it already has several buds and one beautiful bloom. It starts off cupped and opens to reveal a nice orange center. The scent is very strong and definitely smells like myrrh but with a nice fresh sweetness. Not 100% myrrh. It’s around 95 where I live with pretty high humidity and she doesn’t seem to be affected at all.
I planted it about a month ago and it's given me one bloom so far with a couple more buds. I can smell the single bloom about 6 ft away. It seems pretty healthy so far in my no spray garden. I can't wait to see and smell it more mature.
I got these roses early March. These 2 bloomed early May! And I have 6 more buds on the bush. They smell incredible and are almost glowing. I also got the compost and the fertilizer and used as directed and I think that helped. And! I live in Brooklyn, grew these in a container on my windowsill. They’re so beautiful, I’m just speechless.
