Prolific climber..

Florentina is as beautiful as she is prolific. I do not detect much of a scent, but this is her first year in my garden and that may need to develop. Regardless, she is gorgeous.

Beautiful, hardy rose

My rose is in its second year, and it is growing like crazy, despite my 4 year old son cutting it back almost to the ground earlier this spring. 😩 It had canes that grew nearly 5 feet last year. No blooms year one, but the wait was worth it! It exploded with flowers last week, and they are absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!

Best rose in my garden in Nova Scotia

What a spectacular rose. Very glossy foliage reflects the light, and the color of new growth is very red - nice contrast with the dark green. The blooms are abundant and it flowers all season here right up to October.
I'm buying the last seven at the nursery because this rose stands up so well to Nova Scotia climate, with a bit of burlap wrap before the deep freeze. I live on the ocean and this was the star performer. It grows very fast, needs to be pruned back to 18" in early spring before new growth buds out. Pest free, super hardy.
