I was gifted a Judy Garland rose last year and for a while it seemed to do okay, but then I saw a steady decline. She was down to her last cane when I decided to give some of the nutrition options a shot. I added the manure as a top dressing and watered with some worm casting tea I made (both the castings and manure are Heirloom Roses brand products) and a week after application she has grown some new leaves. It's really the first sign of life I have seen from her in a while so I am on board with nutitional amendments from now on.
I ordered 4 roses from Heirloom this year. I also decided to try the aged cow manure. That was the best decision ever. Planting instructions said to add bone meal and aged cow manure…..which I did. All of the roses flourished beyond my expectations. And the left over manure was top dressed on other roses. They too amazed me by their growth. Excellent product! I will definitely order again and again.
I used the manure for the first time in a bed that I planted right before winter came on. And then just forgot about it. The next spring, that bed was phenomenal. Tons of buds, vigorous growth, healthy, etc. I also used bonemeal, earthworm casings, and fish fertilizer. Excellent product and recommend 100%
This is an excellent product for those who want to naturally nourish their plants. The quality is very high.
