14 acres of roses (over 700) and this one is one of my very favorite. She is very disease resistant in my zone 9a humid climate and puts out long canes of flowers with about 15 flowers on each. The flowers are very long lasting. One bunch can fill a vase. Not heavily scented, but makes up for it with her gorgeous quartered flowers!
I planted these end of May from rose only and by June it had tripled in size and I had my first bloom!! Since then it is now about 6-7 feet tall and has overgrown the trellis! It is also very full. The lush and thick quality has surpassed my expectations. And for the record I do not have a green thumb!!
Florentina is as beautiful as she is prolific. I do not detect much of a scent, but this is her first year in my garden and that may need to develop. Regardless, she is gorgeous.
Absolutely stunning flowers and healthy plant! Flowers have lasted for a month. Amazing!
