White Cap is a truly unique Japanese Peony with bright red-pink guard petals surrounding a pillow of creamy beige to mocha petaloids that gently brighten to white with age. At 33” tall, she has one of the strongest stems of all Peonies and does not need to be staked. White Cap has a lovely fragrance and has been an award winning Peony since 1999. Be sure to give her at least 6 hours of sunlight so she can push out bright, beautiful blooms.
Please note that Peonies may take several growing seasons to get established before they reward you with armloads of beautiful blooms.
White Cap is sold as one root with 3-5 eyes.
