Excellent

After growing this for 5 years I would say this is probably my best Austin. It is vigorous, floriferous, and has quite a strong fragrance of classic rose scent. Keep in mind that this rose does get fairly large and spreading (6-8 feet wide in my climate) with flowers that nod slightly.

Gorgeous Rose

This rose is gorgeous. With a strong, pleasant aroma, Bishop's Castle blooms consistently in my garden (zone 9) with no fuss. I get spiders in my garden, but I just use a paintbrush to swish the morning webs off, and this beauty has had no other pest problems. I highly recommend this lovely bush.

One of my favorite

Ive had this Rose for over 7 years. First planted in Pasadena (Sunset zone 20) then transplanted it to N.NV.(Sunset zone 6). It thrives in both places. It has the most amazing old rose scent which can be strong an acre away. The change in growing zones has not changed its vigorous growth habit. Its is a wonderful climber.
