The Ancient Mariner is a heavily petalled Shrub rose with blooms in glowing mid-pink that soften at the edges and open to reveal golden stamens. Inspired by The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, its deeply ruffled flowers appear singly or in clusters and release a sweet myrrh fragrance, all set against matte dark green foliage. With a bushy, upright habit and a continuous bloom cycle, this variety performs beautifully in garden beds, borders, or containers.
