I can't ask for more, this rose was planted in late August and it's blooming in late October. It's the first bloom from this rose, it's a good size and its color is a deep velvet pink, almost purple. I assume that it will take a year or two before it gets its true color and bloom shape, so far so good.
I planted this rose May 10th. On June 20th, it bloomed its first rose. By August 10th, it had branched out a **** bit and had more rose buds. By September 1st, I noticed a **** growth spurt on one side of the bush. By September 5th, that stalk had grown over a foot. September 8th, a few roses bloomed on the short side. September 22nd, the tall side had roses. Today (October 5th), it looks relatively the same. I’m not sure why it only grew tall on one part of the bush, but the color of these roses is a beautiful, deep purple. I absolutely love it, and I hope it evens out next year. Even if it doesn’t, I just love it. 💜💜💜
I was worried about putting this rose in a less sunny location. With about 4-5 hours of sunlight, Ebb Tide is thriving beautifully.
