Stunning, soft scent. I seriously can't stop smelling it when I step out. It grew fast upon arrival, with a few green leaves sprouting. It also has a delicate pink shade color. I used heirloom roses's mint compost, cow manure and living soil to its container pot. It seems very happy, has a few other buds popping up. I'm outside Austin, TX.
I underestimated this rose plant. I did not like the hot pink color that much but my daughter chose this one as I included my small family in each selection, so this one became very special to me. After a few weeks of reciving it the green glossy folage capture my attention. And after a month I got my first blooms from her. Those are just as the pictures, big beatiful blooms. Their shape changes and they last more than two weeks in my experience. I did buy a Tiffany and it is not doing as expected I may replace her with another one of this.
The bud is about 5" wide with a soft pink color. It blooms continuously through spring to late fall and has strong disease resistance. I'm in zone 8a, but summer could be 110 F degrees for about 10 days. The plant was doing well under this harsh climate. It bloomed and bloomed. I really love it.
I have 9 heirloom rose bushes. This one is my 4th or 5th favorite. Not the most fragrant, but has pretty blooms, color is nice.
