I ended up with this rose when I was too impatient to wait for the David Austin Bathsheba to come up for sale and it was a lovely happy mistake. It’s a lovely pastel orange/apricot which is exactly what I was looking for. This rose has been in the ground for about a year, but gave me buds after only a few months. Very healthy and vigorous grower, it sent up quite a few canes and now they’re about the thickness of my finger. The blooms are quite spectacular and last quite a while before shattering. The smell is lovely, and I imagine once this girl is growing up the walls it’ll be enchanting while walking by. Highly recommend!
I just planted two of these on the front fence a month ago. The first rose is just starting to get a few leaves growing on it and the other has two little starter roses that have bloomed. Looking forwards to seeing this rose mature. Zone 10.
I received this beautiful rose in early June, and I have already got more than 10 blossoms in less than two months! The color of the flowers is so beautiful. Love it so much! I also found a new strong cane is growing now. So happy about it!
