Amazing so far!

I ordered 2 La Reine's on 11/29/23. They've been in the ground at the most 6 weeks. Each little plant is about 14" tall. One has 7 buds on it, the other 5. I'm amazed! I bought them to replace two DA Heritage roses that my hot, intense Hawaiian sun fades to pure white. I hope La Reine retains her lovely color. I live on the dry side of the big island, Hawaii, at an elevation where roses grow. I purchase Heirloom roses as I prefer own root. I use Merit to keep my roses healthy, along with liquid fish fertilizer, at least while they're babies. Zone 11.

Beautiful blooms only 10 months later!

Big buds all over my Reine. It smells lightly citrusy. Very fully double on its first bloom flush. A little leggy to where it looks like a climber but I’m guessing I just need to prune better next year!

Wonderful

What a nice rose! I got this for my mother in law last year, and it has done amazingly well. I hover between zone 4 and 5. No winter protection did not hinder this rose. Wonderful fragrance as well!

Beautiful blooms and fragrance!

My La Reine, planted only last fall, is taking off after winter temperatures below zero with two big, gorgeous blooms and additional buds while only little more than a foot high. I'm already very impressed with it's vigor and beauty, and the fragrance is heavenly!
