My favorite rose of all time -- just the best smell ever! Have planted these in whiskey barrels and even unforgiving soil here in the Seattle area and they are hearty (Zone 8 I think)! The ones in the whiskey barrels get the heirloom fish emulsifier and they are so gorgeous!
I got Honey Perfume to replace a rare rose failure. I'm going to try that one again too, but meanwhile Honey Perfume has outdone herself. Many lovely rich golden flowers. And yes, they are perfumed. My plant is healthy and still small. It is in full sun. We'll see how she stands the winter winds! I'm in Northern Coastal California zone 9b/10a.
I feel like it draws me to it just to sniff its clean and lovely fragrance. It is a fine rose I feel lucky to have. Strong and healthy too! Repeat bloomer all season long!
I had this beautiful rose bush that came back 8 years and got bigger and bigger. I was the envy of all my neighbors. It smelled so good and the amount of roses it would produce was amazing. Unfortunately, it died 2 years ago and I have been looking for one every since. I hope I will be one of the lucky ones to get it when it is ready
