Kansas Proud

Kansas Proud is a double-early Tulip with deep burgundy-red blooms that open into full, rounded flowers. Each bloom is about 3–4" across and grows on strong 14–16" stems. It blooms in early to mid-spring and adds rich color to garden beds and cut flower arrangements. Deer resistant and dependable for spring planting.

Kansas Proud is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting. 

Fall Planting Instructions: 

  1. Choose an area with partial to full sun that has good drainage.

  2. Dig a hole 6-8” deep and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole. Tulip bulbs should be planted 6” below the soil.

  3. Place bulbs 2-3” apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.

  4. Water once and then not again till spring.
