  • This deep red rose is sometimes known as Black Madonna and stands out with her 4”, velvet red blooms. She is a very dark red, but not as dark as Black Baccara®. Her 25+ petals per bloom stand out against the dark and glossy, green foliage. We love Madonna™ in a cut flower garden since she is a continual bloomer.

I received this beauty about 3-4 weeks ago. Was shipped defoliated due to extreme heat in their area. In about 4 weeks she exploded with new growth & foliage plus today she opened her very 1st bloom & has her 2nd on the way! I must say I am absolutely in love with this rose. Her color is so dark yet vibrant, she looks like red velvet! Pictures don't even do her justice. Didn't notice a scent from her yet. I can't hardly wait to see how she preforms next spring tho! I have my "Black Rose" collection, including her as well as Black pearl, Black Baccara & Dark Desire & so far she's the only one that's bloomed even tho they all arrived during or around the same week. Her color is so eye catching & I have her paired next to my Lady of Shallot & I think she just might outshine the Lady herself! Great rose so far. Very happy.

Arrived with little to no foliage but in a few weeks time, has now exploded with rich dark green leaves & is just about ready to put out her 1st blooms! So far so good.
