Classic, long pointed buds unfurl into high-centered, exhibition-style blooms of clear, soft pink across this royal rose. Royal Highness produces large, 5-6” blooms with an intense, tea fragrance against dark, glossy, leathery green foliage. She was the winner of the Portland Gold Medal. She prefers a little extra care preparing for the colder winter months.

Weak bush for me

I live in zone 8a South Carolina and bought 4 of these and planted in spring. 2 of them didnt make it through the next winter and the other two are not growing very much .

Beautiful Rose

This rose is indeed beautiful. I ordered 2, 1 is gorgeous & 1 died. I sent the info to have the Rose replaced. Because when I planted it I used miracle grown potting soil it was denied. Enjoy

One of my favorites

I agree with all the other reviewers. I first bought this rose about 15 years ago, and have replaced it several times because it is winter sensitive. I live in Zone 5, but close to Lake Michigan. I have 5 RH roses now that have survived for 5 years by mounding them with soil and sand in the late fall and putting styrofoam rose cones on them for the winter. I think 3 have come from Heirloom. I am so grateful that Heirloom still stocks this rose. I think they have the best stock.

My first rose

Royal Highness was my first hybrid tea rose over 45 years ago. She stayed in my memory after moving away from my first house. I finally found her again at Heirloom Roses. I am so happy with her unique romantic pink beautiful blooms and healthy shiny leaves. Bringing an old memory to life thru Royal Highness has rekindled my love of roses. I now have 40 roses but none as stunning and meaningful as Royal Highness!

Wonderful Rose!

This rose is beautiful cut as well as on the plant. It smells amazing and is one of my favorite roses. It has lovely form and opens nicely. Even the foliage on mine was nice.
