  • Sultry Night™ is a beautiful Shrub rose bred by Tom Carruth. She entices with magenta-to-pink blooms with a light lavender reverse. She has a strong fragrance with hints of old rose, citrus, and tea. A highly disease-resistant variety, her 3” blooms are borne in clusters set against mid-green foliage. Expect this rose to average 2-4’ tall with 60-100 petals per bloom. Sultry Night™ is happiest in gardens in zones 4-9.

Dense and Full

Beautiful foliage. For me, it took about 2 months before it began producing buds and blooms but it is worth the wait. It starts off a red color and changes into a darker pink.

I purchased 5 of Sultry Night and planted them per Heirloom's instructions and amendments and could not be happier with it's performance. Each plant has several blooms already just a few months after planting. The blooms are looking healthy and the foliage is such a bright spot in the garden. Sultry was the final rose for my half moon garden and is absolutely perfect.
