Slow start to big bang

This rose loves the heat and direct sun in my 6a zone. Previously had it in a part shade area and it suffered. Gives two to three beautiful flushes each season. Just beware, thorns are long and hurt like hell.

Stunning Color

I received America last fall and she gave me the first blooms this spring. The blooms lasted for a long time. Unfortunately there was no fragrance at all on any blooms so far. I still love her for the large blooms and bright color that doesn't fade. Considering that I am in Central Texas zone 9a, and the temps are over 90 everyday, I think it says a lot!

America beautiful

This is the most beautiful rose and the scent is amazing. It just bloomed for the first time since I got it last fall. Breathtaking rose to have in my garden!

Beautiful Rose

This rose is vigorous and bloomed the first year I planted it. My only disappointment is that the fragrance is nearly undetectable, and it is supposed to be "intensely fragrant". For me, the fragrance is as important as the beauty of the rose. I am hoping that it will become more pronounced as the plant ages.

Survivor Rose!

I am new to roses. I bought a ton of roses last year, and only a few made it to this year. The America rose is my best one! Lots of beautiful blooms. It is growing high already. I am going to order a few more and hopefully I’ll have success with them as well.

The spot I planted my America has shade always at the base of the plant. It gets good water as well. There is some early morning and afternoon sunshine, then shade the rest of the day.
