This is not a prolific bloomer. I bought this in 2020 and planted in a pot...saw 3 flowers the second year. Read that it wants to be planted in ground, so I did that - produced 2 flowers to date. So frustrating.

I purchased one Wollerton Olde Hall mid-summer and fretted the past few months because we’ve been in a severe drought in central Ohio for the entire summer. Of course, this was the summer I decided to invest in a good number of Heirloom roses…
This little beauty established quickly and started throwing leaves like crazy. Did not expect much height the first, which is why I delayed putting up a trellis. Anyway, multiple canes are 4 feet tall and this is my first rose! I’m thrilled!
Would like to note that I ordered all of the planting supplies for my roses from heirloom; it was the smartest thing I’ve ever ever done. Despite the drought/high temps/insufferable heat index for most of the summer, the roses have done great.

I planted this in January (7 months ago) and it has twice been mowed to the ground by a family of deer. I was so worried about this but it’s bounced back really well and is starting to produce large blooms. Also worth noting that black spot came through and took out 75% of my peonies, but these roses weren’t affected in the least.

Second year, happily climbing and pushing out perfectly cupped blooms!

I have a group of three, easily seen from pergola but the daily joy is from the kitchen window. They're coming up through acacia obelisks. Lovely grouped blooms, great aroma. Maybe need a few more?
