I have this rose in a east facing border. It bushes out in June and July then throws up tall canes in August, to over 6 feet. The flowers are beautiful in form and color, small and fragrant. I’m still getting used to the ways of this rose. It is competing well with dicentra and hosta and doing well enough but I probably should clear the competing plants and mulch around the rose. Really lovely scent. I’m thinking it could have been a short climber or column. As it is, I prune the tall canes and wish I didn’t have to. I may move it.

Zone 7. Healthy foliage and gorgeous blooms on my first year plant. Loves to be fed with fish fertilizer. Love Heritage roses. Always reliable. A touch of heaven.

This rose is very unusual in that it changes color as the blooms grow older so it makes for a varied rose and is very pretty.

I planted the rose this year and fully expected not to get any blooms this year, but was surprised at how many it produced. Looking forward to next year when it is fully established as I am sure it will be a wonderful addition to my garden. Love David Austin roses and feel so fortunate to have Heirloom Roses so close to where I live.
