  • About Portlandia™
  • Other Details
  • Named for the copper statue in Portland, Oregon which is second only in size to the Statue of Liberty comes Portlandia™. This outstanding, continually blooming Shrub rose has an old-fashioned look. Her many petaled 3 ½ -4" blooms show a rich golden apricot center which shades to pink and cream. The blooms have a fruity fragrance and are produced in good sized clusters on long stems so a single cluster can fill a vase. Expect dark green, leathery foliage on this rose. Portlandia™ can also be trained as a Climber if preferred in zones 5-10.

Eye catching and tough!

Mine is only a few months old and its grown rapidly. Producing very impressive roses that look obnoxious neon in the right light. They also have a wonderful smell. The picture is a month old and its much bigger already, like 2 times that size.

Its been resistant to powdery mildew and blackspot where other roses next to it are having some struggles and handled multiple days of 100+ weather like it was nothing.

Beautiful roses

I got this one about a month ago and already have a little bloom that opened with more coming in. It is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see how it grows over the first and second year!

Delighted with this rose purchase.

The rose arrived healthy. It was planted right away in a designated place. It’s growing vigorously with approximately 6 hours of full sun per day. It’s been in the ground less than a month and already there is a rose bud making an appearance!

Gorgeous

I bought this stunner 3 years ago and it did not bloom in years 1 and 2. As another reviewer said, she was sleeping. Zone 6b. This year she finally bloomed and she was worth the wait!! Absolutely stunning. The deep pink outer petals with orange in the middle is breath taking. Just buy it! You won't regret it!
