I love the bright orange color of this rose. I did not notice the fragrance. It’s a very healthy rose and I’m growing this in a pot. Seems to be a short bush which is easier to maintain for me.

No, my title isn't a country song. I'm giving this rose 5 stars, although she didn't bloom for me until the end.
I had her for a year and she barely grew and never bloomed. So, I carefully dug her up early this spring and put her in a container to give to my sister. In the two months that I held this rose for her, it shot up a foot and produced gorgeous blooms. It's still blooming for my sister, who moved her to a bigger container. Maybe she wasn't getting enough sun or my soil has too much clay, but she loves being a container plant. I'm buying another one this fall and buying a nice, big ceramic pot I've been eyeing for her. She really astounded with her beauty. I've been absolutely obsessed with getting another one. I'm in Coastal Texas, Zone 10a.

This rose is gorgeous. The color is divine, only wish she was larger.

I was a bit nervous about adding three orange flowering shrubs to our rose/perennial borders. The rave reviews encouraged me to give Louise Clements a try. Of the nine varieties ordered from Heirloom, Louise was the first to bloom and has produced far more flowers at her diminutive stage than any rose I’ve grown. The orange color blends well with the apricots, reds and purples in the garden. Her branches were floppy at first, sprawling on the mulch. I staked them, and as soon as they bloom have cut the branch back to just above a five leaf section and enjoyed the blooms inside. The branches are gaining strength. I’m following all Heirloom’s directions and hoping in future seasons the shrubs reach the size listed in the catalog. Foliage is dark green and shiny, very healthy. No particular fragrance yet. The bloom colors are mesmerizing. We are in zone 5b, central Nebraska.
