Lovely climber!

I woke up this morning to Impressionist’s first bloom! I have her climbing on a fence and she’s done lovely in zone 8a even planted mid-summer.

Amazing Color!

This is one of my favorite roses. The colors of the bud to the new flowers are so vibrant. They remind me of a Caribbean sunset on St. John USVI. I have bought this rose twice. The first rose I had a hard time with black spot. I have been proactive with the second one and it’s working. I really enjoy these blooms. For me in Maine, it doesn’t grow like a climber but that is okay with me.

Maiden bloom has blown me away! This rose is so beautiful and the color transitions are sublime. I liked it so much I got 4 of them lol.

I bought this rose as part of a 3x climbing rose package + soil amendments at Costco. I got caught up with life and left the roses sitting inside for almost a month. This rose looked the worst. No leaves and scrawny. I planted per the package instructions with the soil amendments + backfilled with 60-70% coco coir because I have heavy clay soil. This was the first of the three to bud and bloom. And it has the most flowers (the other only has 1). I also think it gets the most sun. Be sure to place in an optimal sun location.
