In 1997 'New Dawn™' was voted the most popular rose in the world at the 11th World Convention of Rose Societies, and she deserves it. She produces silvery, blush-pink, 3" full flowers with 35-40 petals on a great, repeat blooming plant. New Dawn™ is versatile enough to be grown as a Shrub or a Climber. She is a prolific repeat bloomer with a delightful, strong fragrance. New Dawn™ can tolerate colder temps down to zone 4 and also doesn’t mind dappled shade. A win all around!

Hardy Hardy little Rose

I bought this rose several years ago as a Bare Root. This has to one of the most hardy little bushes I have ever had. The fragrance is so nice, it puts up with Hot Sun, no feedings on time or forgotten all together, weeds at base, and she keeps on blooming no matter what, while I was sick. I plan on moving, it if I can, to a much better spot and taking better care. The pink color gets a little darker over time. I am also going to train it as a bush instead of a climber. Either way a super little rose and well worth the money.

Still out. On this one

Spring 2023 I bought 2 New Dawn roses for my half moon arch. One grew tall, no blooms. The other one bloomed profusely, but only got maybe 3 feet tall. 2024 and a repeat performance. In 2023 I contacted Heirloom and was told this was normal. In 2024 I was told they wouldn’t replace them so I decided to take them out and put in 2 honeysuckle next spring. After all that back and forth, Heirloom sends me an email saying it’s not their practice to do this, but they’re sending me 2 new roses?!? I received them and they’re in the ground. I guess time will tell how these new ones do. Thank you Heirloom for the new roses!

Can't go Wrong!

I've had this rose for 30 years now and it's a steady performer, although I get one huge flush of blooms early and then very sporadic but nothing like that first huge flush. It's the type of rose you're going to take pictures under or near though, just such a beautiful pale pink. Thorny thick canes, I get a lighter fragrance than mentioned, and it's a prolific climber. This is just one bush in the picture.

Beautiful Roses Perfect for an Arch

This is year 3 for these New Dawn roses ans they are amazing! There must be a couple hundred buds on the plant and they have reached top of the arch. I may replant the Golden Showers rose on the left side and let the New Dawn cover the whole grotto. Heirloom Roses provide the very best rose plants anywhere!

Incredible fast growth

Planted in spring 2022 first summer we got one long cane and not much more last year a couple more and this year I fed it heavily in spring and it took off like crazy. Hundreds of flowers. I find the pinker the flower the more fragrant it gets.
