Granddaughter's request

Knowing how much I enjoy roses, last year my granddaughter suggested that I try a purple rose. We agreed that Plum Perfect would be perfect and it did not disappoint! The color is rich and the ruffled petals give an antique look to the blooms. It blossomed all summer long and looks healthy for the coming year.

My favorite.

I have 90+ roses and Sunbelt Plum Perfect is my favorite. I love it so much, I ordered a second one. When my gardener mowed over one of the canes, I trimmed the clipping and stuck it in an Aloe Vera Spike to make a new one and now have a third that I'll have to transplant in Spring. They do have a light pink color in hot weather, but their early Spring and late Fall presentations are that lovely lilac color that's shown on the photos. I absolutely love that color! It's the earliest that blooms and the loveliest.

Planted two of these and within a week they have leafed out. Very healthy, baby foliage has a beautiful reddish purple hue. Zone 7B.

So Pretty

My rose has been in the ground for about a year. It is about 3 feet tall and wide, and it puts out gorgeous lavender blooms. It tolerated our 115* weather in July with afternoon shade and no indication of disease. I'm pleased as punch with this lovely rose.
