Twilight Zone’s large buds open into 3.5”, very double, old-fashioned flowers of the deepest, velvety purple, like the sky at twilight. Her intense purple will be deeper and more concentrated in more moderate temperatures. Twilight Zone features a strong citrus and spice fragrance that will entice you across the garden. Her medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage creates a luxurious backdrop for this purple beauty. She is perfect for the cutting garden or to grow in pots if you wish!

Very lovely, nice repeat

The blossoms on this one remind me a bit of Munstead Wood in their color, but the petals are more loose and ruffled in form. This one always seems to be pushing out blooms, even in high temperatures. It does get blackspot and cercosospora in my no-spray 6b garden but is seems to come back despite it. I will have to say that I have two in the ground and one in a pot and the two in the ground are much healthier. I'm very happy with this rose. It is quite photogenic.

THIS rose.

She was in bloom at the Portland test garden when I went last month. I'm not one for dark roses, but I'm getting this one the very second my beds are prepped.

She isn't particularly tall, but her flowers are on the larger size, and her smell!

She and Mister Lincoln have completely changed my taste in roses.

I've bought from Heirloom before, so I'm excited that I get to have a full journey with her soon from small little twig to beautiful, graceful, and powerful rose.

I am currently in 9b, will be moving to zone 8. This is one of the roses I'm taking with me when I move.

Growing beautifully in Mid-Atlantic

I’m new to serious rose growing, and learning as I go. For me, Heirloom Roses were pricey, but I now believe worth every penny. Heirloom Roses have a great variety of roses, come healthy, and produce as described. I ordered the Twilight Zone rose shown below a year ago. A good healthy rose came very well packaged and took off quickly. This growing season it’s giving beautiful roses in abundance. Since I’m learning, I have tried other producers with mixed results. One thing I have learned is that with all the work I put into my roses, I prefer a starting with a vigorous, healthy plant than a weak one. Heirloom Roses fit my needs best.

Almost a bouquet in itself.

Bush only about 12 inches wide but had over a dozen blooms at once. Blooms were very large and made the bush look like a purple ball. Neighbors now want one for their gardens.

Impressed already!

She arrived a week ago, was planted in a 20”x20”pot, and I already have buds. The color and scent is utterly gorgeous!
