After an uncertain start after planting last year, my HotCocoa is now putting out an abundance of lush, burnished leaves. I pruned it very lightly over winter, so it's already a good size. Last year, it produced several small roses, and I have a feeling it's going to be the first to perform this year. It's a beauty!

I just planted this rose and the foliage is beautiful. Still hoping for a bud, but with winter pushing on I may have to wait for spring. I really appreciate the tutorials that are provided for planting, caring and transplanting.

I'm adding to the scores of five-star reviews for this rose--I LOVE it. I just planted it in Colorado a few weeks ago (September) and it has already produced the most gorgeous rose--I'd include a photo if Heirloom Roses gave that as an option!

This is a new rose and new to me. I almost did not order it, not in my color range.
WOW! It is sooo in my color range, healthy plant, beautiful form and growing
very tall and full in a pot! I am really excited about this beautiful, luxurious rose.
Have been trying to photograph the blooms but have not yet captured the sheer
depth of color and the velvety texture of the petals. Fortunately, I will have many years
to perfect my photography skills. Hot Cocoa is beyond anything I expected and am
