Shipping and Ordering Information

FREE SHIPPING

We offer FREE SHIPPING on all continental US orders of $100 or more after any promotional codes or discounts have been applied. Continental US orders under $100 will be charged a $15 flat shipping fee. Orders shipping to Alaska & Hawaii will be charged a $50 flat shipping fee. Canadian customers' shipping rate is  calculated by FedEx, which will vary by location. Heirloom Roses currently does not offer shipping options for any additional US territories or the Canadian provinces of Yukon, Northwest Territories, or Nunavut.

SHIPPING

During check out, US customers may choose a requested arrival date for their order. Canadian customers may select a requested ship week. Enter your address and you will receive an estimated transit time for your package. We recommend choosing a ship date that works best for planting in your hardiness zone.

Once we have packaged and shipped out your order, you will receive an email with tracking information. All orders are shipped by FedEx or USPS. Heirloom Roses cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Orders containing multiple items may see tracking numbers that arrive on different dates. Rest assured, your order will ship in its entirety.

Your first available arrival date will be based on estimated transit time in addition to Heirloom Roses' processing time.

To protect our roses from extreme weather changes, we sometimes defoliate the plant and ship them with limited foliage. This helps roses stay healthy throughout the shipping process. We guarantee that your roses will arrive healthy and hardy. Leaves will begin to grow within 2-3 weeks of planting.

SHIP YEAR ROUND

At Heirloom Roses, all of our roses are potted and greenhouse-grown, so we are able to ship all 12 months of the year. You can order your roses anytime and choose the best ship date that aligns with your planting schedule (up to eight months in advance). So, feel free to make purchases even in the off-season and rest assured that our dedicated team will be diligently caring for your roses until  your chosen delivery date in the future.

Please Note: Customers from Canada will only have a select period of dates to choose from during the planting season.

We recommend that you plant your roses six weeks before the first frost. To find frost dates in your area, enter your ZIP code here. You may plant your roses at any time except during periods of extreme heat or cold.

Our roses are shipped semi-dormant in November, dormant from December – February, semi-dormant in early March, and non-dormant the rest of the year.

ORDER CHANGES

Once your order has been placed, you have 4 hours to edit or cancel your order.

To edit your order, choose "Edit or Cancel Order" either from your confirmation email or in your Heirloom Roses online account. When editing an order, your original order will be canceled and, if the roses are still available, they will be added back to your cart. You must complete checkout again to reprocess your order after making any modifications.

Please note, removing items from an order may result in a new order total that may incur the $15 shipping fee.

You may also call our Customer Care team for assistance with modifying an order until 10 days before the order is scheduled to ship at 800-820-0465.

Plant tags and ground stakes may not be canceled or refunded after the order has been placed as engraving occurs immediately. Please allow an additional two days for your order when adding tags.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS/ADDRESS CHANGES

Orders that are canceled after they have shipped will be redirected back to us from the shipping carrier at the customer's expense. Incorrect addresses provided by the customer that require redirects may also be charged. Please ensure the correct shipping address is entered when the order is placed.

Orders cannot be split and sent to separate addresses. If an order is canceled, those products will be forfeited and any new orders placed will be subject to current stock availability, current pricing, and currently available ship date.

QUALITY STANDARDS

At Heirloom Roses we are committed to growing plants that exceed your expectations. We guarantee our roses are healthy, grown on their own roots, virus-free, and true to variety. We are so confident in our roses that we warranty them for one year from the date of shipping, as long as they are properly planted per our planting instructions and cared for in growing zones recommended on our website.

PAYMENT

Payment is due in full and will be charged at the time of order entry. This will reserve your order and hold until your selected ship date.

All payments are to be paid in US funds. If your state has a sales tax, the payment total will include the applicable sales tax due.

MERCHANDISE RETURNS & REFUNDS

Any merchandise that has been opened from the manufacturer’s packaging or has been used is not acceptable for return. We are unable to accept returns for plant Tags and Stakes as they have been custom engraved and may not be resold.

Due to the fact that plants are perishable, we don't accept returns of live plant material. Should you receive a rose that you believe is not up to our quality standards, please contact our Customer Care team right away.

Returns of non-plant items must be made within 14 days of arrival and in new, unopened condition. The customer is responsible for the return shipping charges.

Approved returns will be refunded to the original form of payment within 7-10 business days.
