This once-blooming Damask rose was bred before 1837 and is one of the most sublime of old roses. Her huge, fully double, quartered, 3-4” blooms of purest pink have 40+ petals per flower and are extremely fragrant. La Ville de Bruxelles produces the largest blooms among the old roses. She is a strong, upright, spreading plant with great foliage. We recommend her for beds, borders, or pots.

An antique beauty!

I received La Vie de Bruxelles last fall. She just had her maiden bloom. Very fragrant, must have once blooming rose. Virginia, Zone 8B

My First Rose

I am a beginning gardener, and this is my first rose. My rose arrived on April 3, 2024 in excellent shape, and ready to put into a container. The videos on the Heirloom website that explained what to expect when receiving the rose and how to plant it were most helpful (the video that showed how roses are propagated was interesting, too). In just a day or two, my rose started to grow leaves, and now is putting out its first bud. Am so excited to see its flowers, and experience its fragrance.

they started to grow really fats, first buds appeared in a month. It already blooms, however due to heat the bloom wilt in a few hours. If they do good in this really hot summer, I will get more
