"Birthday Girl" is a gorgeous, continual blooming machine!! Blooms last over a week, thru rain & heat ~ Pollinators love her! ~ The shiny green leaves never get black spot or disease & even rose slugs leave her alone!! Petals are thick & retain their bright color, when dried for Potpourri ~ I bought her from Heirloom roses over 10 years ago and she is still amazing!! (Heirloom's website shows some yellow on the flowers, but mine are pure cherry & white) Although unscented, YOU NEED THIS ROSE!

I have 4 of these beauties, and I mean beauties! According to the description, the rose was to be wider than it is tall; however, that's not the way mine are growing - vice versa - but I certainly do not mind. Once these babies took off, they just kept going! They are awesome!

Birthday Girl is such a sweet, bright rose & so prolific! I have her planted next to Good Ol' Summertime & they compliment each other perfectly (although had I paid attention & realized that they are both shrubs, I'd have planted them further apart!). A prolific bloomer even in the heat wave we've been having in zone 8b in Salem, OR. Other roses have had black spot, but she seems to be resistant. Love the variation in coloring as she blooms!

We bought this rose in honor of a lost loved one from a gift certificate given to us by a special friend. This rose makes us smile and we always end up talking to the blooms as though we are having conversations with our loved one, The smiles she brings is so joyful! Now my first heirloom rose has made me a rose junkie! Thank you.
