  • We are no longer growing this rose. We maintain this listing for our customer's reference purposes.

Bronze Star™ is a Hybrid Tea rose with an old-fashioned flare. His 6" blooms of antique bronze and rich apricot have a mild honey fragrance. Like his parent, Just Joey®, Bronze Star™’s double blooms are produced in abundant quantities on a robust, strong-growing, continually blooming, tall plant with medium green foliage. Bronze Star™ stands out in the garden in color, size, and fragrance. We recommend him as an addition to your cut flower garden for zones 6-10.

Unique stunner

I have one and adore it! Ruffled petals, unbelievable gold apricot color and lovely fragrance. I want more but they are impossible to find now. I hope they come back to market.

Great Rose!

Big, fragrant, rich in color and fairly hardy. Great cut flower! A stand out in any garden.

Rust magnet

This is a beautiful rose, but in my zone 10b southern California garden, rust is always present. This rose must be sprayed several times during growing season to control the rust. I really like the roses it produces, but I am considering yanking it out because of the on-going rust problem.
