Bred in 1840 in France, this Bourbon, with luscious light pink to cherry-red shading, has stood strong and proud in gardens for almost 200 years. Coupe D’Hebe has an intense rose fragrance with large, very double, cupped blooms. While she is a once-blooming rose in spring or summer, she is worth the wait and occasionally offers scattered blooms. Coupe D’Hebe may also be trained as a Climber as she is a vigorous grower and hardy in most zones.

Great growth

Zone 5b.
Planted this in mid July and now it's double in height. Should've read the description more thoroughly, then I can at least tried it as a climber...oh well it'll just be a tall bush. It's growing vigorously. With it not being repeat bloom, it's forcusing on foliage. Hopefully it'd be established enough and come back in the spring so I can enjoy the bloom.
