  • Other Details
  • There is so much to love about Crown Princess Margareta including her stunning, on-trend, apricot orange color blending which is a rare color for a David Austin Rose. She features vigorous, arching growth and the versatility to be grown as a short climber. Her blooms are very fragrant with a delicious, fruity fragrance easily noticeable from the 100+ petals of her 4-5" blooms. Plant her in full sun or partial shade and enjoy blooms throughout the summer months!

Smells Amazing

This one has been very slow to grow for me, but it’s not in 8+ hours of sunlight. It’s had one bloom but it was the single most stunning bloom I’ve ever seen. It smelled heavenly! Very strong citrus and fruity smell. The best smelling rose I’ve ever smelled! So I forgive its slow start. The bloom lasted a while too. I’m excited to see if it puts on some good growth this year.

What a stunner

Zone 5

Bloom color changes constantly based on temps throughout the summer. And is not at all what the website photos depict. I’ve gotten anywhere from pale yellow, to peach, to salmon, to light orange. All in the same season. All equally gorgeous variations though I prefer the peach/apricot. Year 2 growth and flowering is great. Intend to grow as a large shrub instead of a climber.

Bloomed faster than I could plant

I bought this rose for my wife who is dying of Multiple Myeloma. The blossoms are fragrant and pretty. When my wife has a lucid moment, she enjoys the flowers. I highly recommend this to any gardener.
