WINTER HARDY! Introduced in 1829, this fragrant rose produces fully double blooms of delicate, soft pink on a nice, upright, spreading plant with light green foliage. The coloring of Duchesse de Montebello is especially attractive as is her intense winter hardiness. She can handle the colder winters all the way to zone 4! This rose also does well in pots and partial shade.

Wonderful strong grower

This was one of my first roses (planted in 2017). It has weathered the learning process, attacks of Japanese beetles, and our humid 7a/7b climate (SC). It is a beautiful, vigorous bush that continues to thrive despite all I've thrown at it.

Gorgeous

Well deserved place in history and the garden. Trouble free. Like manure

Very strong grower

Blooms once but worth it. Suckers, so some discipline required to keep in bounds but a very vigorous plant.
